Captain Lewis' Fall

May 23, 1804

Oh No!!! I turn around to see if Captain Lewis is fallowing behind me. The platform on which he was standing gives way and Lewis disappears. I take a moment to load the chain of events that had happened and once I'm back to reality I run to the edge and pear down to see if Lewis is ok. The quick witted man that my master is, he grabbed hi knife and slashed it into the cliff. I gave him a look of worry and apparently he understands dog because he said everything fine. He slowly used hi knife as support and was up next to me once more. He told me "that's why we have two captains".
